Welcome to the new and improved ME-DEM site ME-DEM.org!

 We have moved the site to a new server which affords us much more space and flexibility. We have added several new features to the site and will continue to expand it as the project moves forward. We will also be able to host subdomains for related projects and offer e-mail accounts to project participants. Take a look around the new site and join in the epic Middle Earth DEM Project!

Hello and welcome to the brand new Middle Earth DEM Project website.

This project started in mid-2003 based on some discussion on the Terragen Yahoo mailing list, and a separate Yahoo mailing list was soon formed to give a home to the project. We have now outgrown that home, requiring more file space and more advanced functionality. This site was born of those needs. It is based around the open source Mambo Content Management System, featuring forums, a gallery, files area, and more.
